Position at Pneutech:
-
Officially, I’d be a warehouse assistant, but I tackle LOTS of different stuff.
-
-
How long have you been working with Pneutech?
-
As of now, been at it for a year and 5 months.
-
-
Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
-
At the time I finished up with my uni degree, but I ended up feeling burnt out. So instead of going straight into a directly related career, I settled for something simpler yet close to the field. I’m in a position where I get to understand the background process and logistics of engineering projects from experts within reach.
-
-
What has been your favourite project to work on at Pneutech?
-
Wouldn’t call it a project per say but clearing out and organising the odd mess in and around the warehouse is always giving. It breaks up the standard stuff that goes on everyday and provides a satisfaction from the visible difference of your efforts.
-
-
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
-
Whenever things are in order. There are constantly things out of place when you work this position and everything to chase up. But if you must check something and it is exactly how it should be? I for one, get the greatest sense of relief.
-
-
What tips or advice would you give someone starting a new job?
-
Get along with the people you’re closely working with. You’ll be working together for longest time, and they’ll likely know the ins and outs. And if you’re close, your mistakes are basically theirs as well as there’s a good chance they’ll help too.
-
-
What is one thing you can’t live without?
-
I’d say water to be a smart ass but to make it slightly interesting I’m a huge gamer, so gaming!
-
-
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
-
Dancing, like actual dancing.
-
-
How would your best friend describe you?
-
Sporadic.
-
-
If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?
-
The ability to learn anything quickly.
