Position at Pneutech:
-
Managing Director
-
-
How long have you been working with Pneutech?
-
A little over three years.
-
-
Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
-
Before joining Pneutech, I spent many years in a different industry leading teams, which has always been something I've genuinely enjoyed. At Pneutech, that's no different - we're committed to supporting our people, helping them grow, and giving them every opportunity to reach their potential.
-
-
What has been your favourite project to work on at Pneutech?
-
There are too many to choose just one! What I enjoy most is the incredible variety. One day you might be walking around an aluminium smelter the size of a small town, and the next you're supplying specialised valves for turbo engines. The diversity of our customers and industries keeps every day interesting.
-
-
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
-
Watching our newer team members grow in confidence and capability, supported by the knowledge and experience of those who've been with us for many years. It's a genuinely supportive team, and that's something I'm proud of.
-
-
What tips or advice would you give someone starting a new job?
-
Be curious. Ask questions. Take notes. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new.
-
-
What is one thing you can’t live without?
-
Swimming - it's the perfect way to recharge and clear my head.
-
-
What’s something that you’ve always wanted to try or learn?
-
I'd love to be able to sing like our Engineering Manager, Mr Chris Hogg!
-
-
How would your best friend describe you?
-
Loyal. I believe in supporting the people around me and always being someone they can rely on.
-
-
If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?
-
The ability to read minds. It would certainly make leadership and negotiations a little easier from time to time!
